Early has been the word on the shore this year, with the rivers opening up earlier than many locals have ever seen.  Now we are paying the price. With no rain in past month and not much coming our way. The rivers are very low!! There are steelhead picking spots along some of our northshore rivers and spawning, which makes them easy pickens. Lets let them do their thing and maybe with rain we will get a fresh run. Some have been hooked on small bugs sizes around 12 to 14. Some egg patterns are working in Chartreuse and light pinks. Indicators are the ticket but expect to hang up a bunch. Cheers. "Drink good beer and fight fish" John
