Musky fever!!!

Some smallies have set up in the upper stretches of the St. Louis, maybe this is their big feed before colder temps drop in. Top water bugs are working real well as well as Deceivers and Clousers. Tye them on the bigger size. Focus around gravel bars and dead falls. Be prepared the hit comes when you at least expect it. Some larger fish will rifle through deep water areas to come up and smack a bug!!!! Water conditions are high on the 'Louie due to east winds pushing the sage tide into the upper stretches of the river. This makes conditions very good and big fish should start filtering in to take care of the local bait fish that come in also. Hot temps are trickling down to a comfortable level and night time is the best conditions. Lets pratice Catch and Release. Drink good beer and fight fish!!!
