Fly fishing at the 2010 Duluth Sport show?  (United States)
Modified By TheFlyMaster on 1/7/2010 11:06:56 AM)

I'll be at the show this year helping to represent the fat line users at the Duluth show this year.  Along with some other known local fly fishing celebrities from the peanut gallery of the Great Lakes Fly Company.  There might even be an appearance from John Fehnel at the show tying some of his latest creations!   Looks like Lucky Porter will be there showing some of his wares along with other local fly anglers.

On a serious note.  I'll be doing some fly fishing seminars along with hosting a booth at the show.  So show some local support, swing on by the booth, ask questions and talk fly fishing!

Just want to say thanks to John Fehnel, Brian Porter, Mike Kennedy and Mike Klimas for helping out at the booth this year.  We all met a lot of people, all while tying our favorite flies.  I think it went very well.  We had lots of sign ups for  people interested in fly casting classes and fly tying classes.  The booth helped spread the word for Fly Casting for Recovery and Project Healing Waters.  The casting seminars went very well and hopefully those that attended walked away with some lessen learned.

A big thanks goes out to Rob at Artistic Anglers who donated the musky mount (with a fly in it's mouth) for the booth.  Thanks!  www.artisticanglers.com

All in all, a very well  organized event.  It definately got the juices flowing for this upcoming fishing season.
