Come on down to John's shop and tie some flies. I've just finished up my clouser and now onto some strip leeches and poppers. John has a nice big tying bench with a few vices setup for anyone that wants to come on down and tie that next hot fly. Shoot the breeze, talk about fly fishing and bounce new fly patterns off of other local fly tyers. It's a great place to learn some new skills and to experiment and to pass the time until we have some open water.

I cant believe Mike let you post that pic. I fish with him and he wont let me look in there! So there it is... WOW. I cant tell if thats Mike in the picture, I thought he had more hair? Hang in there, they'll be open water soon.

Nice clousers, and I like the yellow box too. I think we should be doing a carp fly swap to help John and Josh fill that "carp box" They've been working on. I sure could use something different to try here in minneapolis when the spring comes
