Hello all,

I grew up in Duluth and after living near Detroit in Michigan by way of Cincinnati for the last several years I'm coming back to visit my folks around the end of August.  I  was wondering if the Lester river is worth fly fishing that time of year.  When I've come back to visit my family over the years I've done pretty well with small rainbows and the occasional brown in the Lester, but I've never tried to fish it in late August.

If any of you could give me some tips for the Lester that time of year, or--if the Lester is going to be too low--let me know if there's another spot to fish around Duluth for trout, it would be much appreciated.  I want to get my dad out on the stream again and give that 4-weight a work out.  Thanks!
