I'm headed up to the Isabella area next week and am wondering how the bugs have been coming off lately on the smaller stream trout lakes. Any hex lately? Thanks.
Just got back....no Hex on the trout ponds but saw a few shucks on one of the larger warmwater lakes up there.
Got a bunch of brookies on streamers, nothing bigger than 12" but that's not unusual for those sterile little lakes. Beautiful setting and nobody around. Can't ask for more than that....
