Just got off the phone with folks up along the Gunflint and it is all still frozen up solid.  Do the sun dance!  It is raining, but we need high wind and sunshine!  Even the small lakes are locked up.  I have a week were we were going lake trout fishing and thought if the big destination lake is frozen we can short stop it and fish some of the smaller lakes that are open.  WRONG, they are all frozen!  We will see what this week brings, meanwhile make a plan B!
