For any of you who were interested in the Cloudveil Crystal Creek wader, but were unsure of their practical uses, here is a glowing review.  I have been wearing Simms G3 guide waders for a couple of years and love them, but these Cloudveil waisthighs have been an unbelieveable surprise.  I have used them all summer on spring creeks in Montana, on driftboats, and just wading small to medium rivers.  Talk about comfortable, I was much cooler in the heat.  Watch out for the boot size make sure it isnt  too tight.  Easy to pack , and yes the pockets and front zipper are WATERPROOF.  Easy on/off and durable when crawling around spring creek banks.  Looks like the Simms waders will be relegated to cold weather steelheading and deep water wading.  Grab a pair of these from John,  you wont be disappointed.
